avon skin so soft bug guard

Have you ever come home from a day on the computer and found that your face had become irritated with bug bites? Well, most of us will get these around the mouth, nose and eyes, but not all of us do. You probably looked at the infected area and thought, “that’s it!” So you did something about it but didn’t know what.

Did you try and scrape off the bugs with your fingernails, or peel them off with some acid? Perhaps you have heard of “Bug Guard”. But is it really as effective as Avon Skin Care System?

Well, actually, yes it is as effective as Bug Guard but not necessarily as safe. There is a lot of misinformation about this product, including some downright lies.

Did you know that bees and other insects carry diseases and can be killed by using an anti-venom, which is sold in one of the leading drug stores? The same holds true for bee stings and fleas. You never want to touch the product directly, so there’s no reason to have this ingredient in your anti-bacterial, anti-biotic cream.

So what is Avon Skin Care System that gives you a complete, anti-bacterial formula that is “so soft”, “so soft and silky”so soft on the skin”? This product is made from the best Avon ingredients, including, but not limited to:

Yes, you read that right, “bug guard” is a part of the anti-bacterial formula of Avon Skin Care System. The implication is that if you can get rid of the bugs that cause the bacteria then you will have cleared up your problem.

Well, that is not the case. Using a product like Bug Guard will only do very little to kill the bug. In fact, the product doesn’t even seem to work on bees, mosquitoes or other insects, so what else could it possibly be used for?

You see, Bug Guard was designed to remove all the bacteria that build up on the surface of your skin. These bacteria are caused by things like soap residue, pollution, cosmetics, and more. However, the product was never meant to be used as a substitute for antibacterial soap.

With the increasing use of cleansers in our daily lives, we are all exposed to harsher cleansers, which are full of chemicals and bleaches. We are now having to wear so many heavy, moisturizing products on a daily basis that our skin is now prone to dryness, cracks and dry patches. Dry skin causes our skin to become stripped of its natural moisture and we must have some antibacterial protection against these conditions.

So with this being said, we are in the best position to combat dryness and cracked skin because we already have enough build up. It is important to remember that to get a healthy balance, you need to use all natural products that are hypoallergenic and gentle on the skin. This is not the case with the Bug Guard formula and as a result the company has stopped making it.

For all of us who don’t have children or pets who could benefit from the soothing properties of Bug Guard, the only safe way to use itis as an added moisturizer after applying your regular soap and lotion. In addition, you should always remove the Bug Guard before you shower and apply moisturizer afterwards.
