We tested both the Dipbrow Gel and the Tinted Brow Gel from the brand, and both performed well. “They both brush on color, fill in sparse spots and leave your brows feeling and looking fuller all at once,” says Lubitz. The Dipbrow Gel has a matte finish, and its shade range focuses on ash tones. It has a stronger hold than the tinted version, but it’s less water-resistant and doesn’t last as long.

Both have a spoolie on the end that helps disperse product and leave brows with a more natural, groomed appearance. The app also shows you how to apply the product, which is a nice touch.

A favorite of many of our testers, this smudge-proof pencil is easy to use and provides a natural-looking color that blends in nicely with the rest of your face. It’s also great for filling in over-tweezed spots or sparse areas of your brows. “This product is so easy to use and gives me really nice, full brows,” says one editor who has medium-full brows. “It’s also a good alternative to the dipbrow pomade because it has a lighter, more natural feel.”
