How to Have Skin So Soft and Moist by Using Mosquito Repellent

Summer is the time of the year when the insects that love to bite us are more than ever. They are out in force and biting all around. But what they are biting isn’t you, but all those summer products that we apply to our skin and which help keep them away. They are also biting our skin because our skin is too soft for their tiny teeth. There are all sorts of natural and organic compounds available to repel these biting beasts from our skin.

The most effective insect repellent is castor oil. It can be used as a bath oil or just a dab on the skin. Castor oil can be used by itself or mixed with other organic materials. In fact, many of the products we use contain a little bit of castor oil mixed into them.

Another great insect repellent is mosquito repellent powders. These are available in granular, liquid and cream forms and also in other natural compounds such as lavender, tea tree oil etc. These powders can be sprinkled on the ground, put in a sack and carried around. Mosquitoes tend to lay their eggs in the fur of animals so putting some powder on the animal will discourage them from laying there. The eggs they hatch are unpleasant and you would not want anyone getting them.

Honey has always been used by native people to keep mosquitoes away. It is even mentioned in old Indian books. And it works very well! Honey absorbs the water based liquids of the mosquito repellent so when applied to the skin, it keeps the mosquito’s mouth open so they can suck the fluids. The bees will build honey comb’s in response to the mosquito repellent’s liquid and as a result, the whole area becomes covered in a blanket of honey, keeping the mosquitoes at bay.

Bathing in eucalyptus oil is another effective way of keeping mosquitoes away. This substance is made up of hundreds of tiny organic trees. They have been grown in Australia for many years and have now become a popular skin care ingredient that can be found in all sorts of natural products. Eucalyptus has a reputation for being a skin so soft and having a terrific fragrance. It is also effective in killing mosquitoes.

Lavender has always been popular with home owners as a remedy for mosquito bites and has also been used to treat skin conditions and freshen the breath. It is a powerful mosquito repellent. You can make your own candles with lavender oil and burn them as an insect repellent. It can take time to do this and still keep mosquitoes away.

There are many other natural home remedies that you can try. If you have a garden, you could build a simple net and place insect repellent bait in it. For a stronger solution, you could try a natural mosquito repellent called Deltamethrin. Other options include cayenne pepper, tea tree oil, lemon grass, orange peel and vinegar. It is important to test any repellents you use on an area first.

The only downside to using these natural mosquito repellents is that they can take a while to work. You should expect about three weeks for a noticeable reduction in the number of mosquitoes in your area. But after a while, you will be able to enjoy the cool breeze on your skin and the little bites that you will take off your skin. In the end, you will be glad you made the effort to fight off the insects. And not only will you be happy with the results, but you will have the added benefit of reducing your exposure to dangerous chemicals.
