This brightening serum is super charged with 10% stabilised, pure and concentrated Vitamin C for a complexion that’s glowing from within. It also contains the antioxidant ferulic acid which helps to minimise oxidation of Vitamin C, which can cause the dulling of the skin. The serum is free from oily ingredients, so it won’t leave a greasy residue behind and will work well under makeup. It has a pretty strong smell to it, though, which is really off-putting, but I guess that’s just the ferulic acid.
The serum comes in a glass bottle, which makes it very easy to get a precise amount of product out each time. It is a light gel-like formula, which spreads easily and soaks into the skin very quickly. It doesn’t sting or irritate my skin and leaves it feeling soft, smooth and brighter. I use it once a day, morning or night, before applying my favourite Anew day and night cream. It’s suitable for most skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone, and is cruelty-free, paraben-free, phthalates-free, mineral oil-free, alcohol-free and fragrance-free. It is also formulated to be free from sunscreen irritants and is dermatologist tested. It’s also 91% top allergen free. I’m very happy with this serum and have seen a good result after just a week of use.
